
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Wednesday declared the Intermediate (Class 12) examination results for 2026. Students from all three streams—Arts, Science, and Commerce—have delivered an impressive performance this year, bringing joy and celebration among students and their families.
According to the official data, the Arts stream recorded the highest pass percentage at 96.14%. Commerce followed with 93.37%, while Science saw 82.92% of students successfully clearing the exams.
In the Arts stream, Chhoti Kumar secured the top position in the state with 478 marks. Ankit Kumar stood second with 474 marks, while Anshu Kumari claimed the third spot with 473 marks.
In Commerce, Sweta Prasad topped the state by scoring 478 marks. She is a student of Yogoda Satsang Intermediate College. Krish Kumar Barnwal secured second place with 472 marks, followed by Priyanshi Khatri in third place with 471 marks.
In the Science stream, Rashida Naz emerged as the topper with an outstanding 489 marks. A student of DAV +2 Pathardih, she led the merit list. Mohammad Faizan Alam secured second place with 483 marks. The third position was jointly held by Akanksha Kumari and Sana Afreen, both scoring 481 marks.
Following the announcement of results, schools and colleges across the state witnessed a festive atmosphere, with teachers, parents, and friends congratulating the successful students.
