Ranchi: On the occasion of Mahashivratri, Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered prayers to Bhagwan Bholenath at the historic Pahadi Mandir of the state capital and wished for progress, happiness, peace and better health of the state and its people.
On this occasion, he also saw off the grand Shiv Baraat which was taken out by the committee and wished the people for this great festival.
The Chief Minister said that on the day of Mahashivaratri, the arrival of lakhs of devotees to attend Bhagwan Bholenath’s darshan and worship is a reflection of their years-long religious faith.
He prayed to Baba Bholenath that the coming generation should also take this tradition forward with integrity and strength.
On this occasion the Chief Minister was welcomed in a traditional way by the Central General Committee organizing theShri Shiv Baraat procession in the capital.
