Union Minister L Murugan Participates in the G-20 Signature Campaign of the Central Bureau of Communications, also visits Bhagwa

Ranchi: Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr L Murugan reached Ranchi on a one-day visit on Saturday. After reaching Ranchi, he was welcomed at Birsa Munda airport by Akhil Kumar Mishra, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau and Central Communications Bureau, Ranchi.

Thereafter, Dr Murugan signed the board while participating in the G-20 signature campaign organized by the Central Bureau of Communications, Ranchi at the airport. Earlier Shahid Rehman, Head of Office, CBC Ranchi honored him by covering him with a shawl.

The G-20 meeting is proposed to be held in Ranchi in the first week of March, for which preparations have been started by the central and state governments. On this occasion, Joint Director of Regional News Unit of All India Radio, Ranchi Abdul Hameed, Regional Publicity Officer Gaurav Kumar Pushkar, Regional Publicity Officer Onkar Nath Pandey, Technical Assistant Shafiq Alam and other employees of CBC, Ranchi were present. 

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr L Murugan also attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Governor of Jharkhand CP Radhakrishnan. After the oath-taking ceremony at Birsa Mandap of Raj Bhawan, the Minister of State congratulated the Governor by giving him bouquets. 

After this, he along with the Governor went to Ulihatu, the birthplace of Birsa Munda and paid homage to him. On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, along with Governor CP Radhakrishnan in Ranchi went to the Panch Mandir located at Harmu and offered prayers.
