New Delhi— In a strong affirmation of India’s growing aerial dominance, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh disclosed that during the recent **Operation Sindoor**, the Indian Air Force (IAF) executed its deepest-ever precision strike, recording a kill at a distance of nearly **300 km**. The operation, he said, left Pakistan incapable of mounting any response—even within its own territory.
Briefing reporters on the mission’s impact, Air Chief Marshal Singh said:
> “We penetrated deep into enemy territory and carried out high-precision strikes. Within one night of sustained operations, we were able to bring them to their knees. The IAF’s ability to unleash such decisive firepower has not been demonstrated since 1971.”
The success, he noted, was underpinned by India’s integrated air defence system, which ensured seamless coordination, protection of assets, and effective deployment of long-range weapons. Satellite imagery later confirmed the accuracy of the strikes.
Defence analysts believe the record-setting strike was achieved using advanced **precision-guided munitions fired from standoff ranges**, allowing Indian pilots to stay beyond the reach of enemy air defences while delivering maximum damage.
The most striking takeaway, according to the Air Chief, was the **paralysis of Pakistan’s air force**.
> “Pakistan could not operate even within its own airspace,” he remarked, underlining the shock and disorientation inflicted on the adversary.
Though many details remain classified, Operation Sindoor is being hailed as a watershed in India’s air warfare capability—combining reach, precision, and deterrence.
The operation underscores India’s readiness to defend its sovereignty with overwhelming force, sending a clear message across the region: the Indian Air Force is future-ready, and its technological edge is only growing stronger.
