Raghubar offers to take political retirement if a single allegation of CNT-SPT violation is proved against him

Sahibganj: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that he was ready to take retirement from politics if Jharkhand Mukti Morcha can point one instance of violation of CNT and SPT Act done by him.

Addressing a public meeting in Sundar Pahadi of Barhet assembly constituency Mr Das said JMM converted Santhal Pargana into a grazing ground and used the poor and innocent people of the area to just fill its ballot boxes and did not pay any attention towards the development of the community.

He said that JMM which has done the most violations of the CNT and SPT Acts is misleading the tribals by claiming that if the BJP comes back in power their land will be taken away which is an attempt to keep the people away from development. Mr Das asked the people to point one instance where land has been forcibly acquired by the government in these five years.

The Chief Minister said that JMM, on one hand, did not allow development to reach the tribals but on the other hand ensured its own development and that of the Soren family. He asked the people to seek answers from Hemant Soren as to how he constructed a lavish building in Pathna and brought lands in Dumka, Pakuria, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Ranchi.

He said that those who have coined the slogan of land loot have themselves indulged in most instance of land grabbing and said that the government has written a letter over the issue to the Soren family to which they yet not replied and if the answer does not come then as per law land will be taken back and returned to their real owners.
