Addressing an election rally in Shikaripada he said forcibly for the corporate friends of Prime Minister Narendra Modi land was being forcibly acquired in the state against the wishes of the Adivasis and the Moolvasis.

He accused the BJP of turning Jharkhand into a grazing ground for loot. Mr Soren said that while on one hand Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are claiming to have provided lakhs and crore to the state government but development was nowhere to be found. He said that if money was sent to the state government why para teachers and Anganwadi workers were not paid in the state.

Soren said that while the youth were being denied jobs an outsider Chief Minister was making outsiders get jobs in the state.

He said that for five years Raghubar Das tried to make an elephant fly but instead he himself has turned into an elephant who needed to be sent to Chhattisgarh.
