The issue of Massanjore displacement is close to my heart, will continue to fight for the rights of people: Louis Marandi

Dumka: Welfare Minister and BJP nominee from Dumka seat Louis Marandi said that the issue of displacement of Massanjore Dam was close to her heart and she will continue to fight for the rights of the people.

She said that under the present BJP government which is at power in the Centre and as well as in the state concrete steps have been taken to solve the problems of the people who have been hit by displacement.

She said that fruits of the efforts taken to address the issue will soon be visible to the people.

She said that party MPs from Godda and Dumka have also seriously raised the issues related to Massanjore Dam in the Lok Sabha following which the centre also took note of the problems of the people and has initiated steps to solve their problems.

Dr Marandi said that Congress and JMM have been never serious on the issue due to which people of the area for the last 60 years have been bearing the pain of displacement.

She said that in the last five years a medical college was sanctioned in Dumka which has also started functioning in the state apart from that a central school, construction of the biggest bridge in the state on Kumharabad-Kathalia road has been approved apart from that many steps have been taken for beautification of Dumka city.

She claimed that people of the entire Santhal Pargana region were giving their blessings to the party due to which the opposition was rattled.

She said that people have already seen the working of coalition government in the state therefore they have already made up their mind to once again make the double engine government of the BJP.
