DC and SP visit Pandra strong room for inspection

Ranchi: DC Rai Mahimpet Rey along with SSP Anish Gupta reviewed the preparations for counting made at Pandra.

As part of the preparations, the officials inspected the strong room. For 7 assembly segments of Ranchi district, there would be separate counting halls however in the Lok Sabha polls the counting was done in 6 halls.

A three-layer security cover has been deployed at the strong room comprising the jawans of CRPF, JAP and district police.

Without a proper pass, no one is being allowed to enter whereas the entire area has been also covered under CCTV. Even officials who are coming to inspect have to make their entry at the register. An LED screen has been also set up through which an eye can be kept at a strong room.

In the seven counting halls for every 35 booths, one table has been set which means for Tamar 9, Silli 8, Khijri 12, Ranchi 11, Hatia 15, Kanke 14 and for Mandar 13 tables will be used.
