To usher in development people should vote for BJP: Smriti Irani

Bokaro: Union Minister for Textile Smriti Irani said that if the people wanted to bring development in their area than they should vote for the BJP.

Addressing an election rally in Dumri she said if development works needed to be drawn nearer between Dumri and Delhi than the victory of BJP is a must in these polls. She said that for 15 years people of the area have been denied development and this time through their vote they have got an opportunity to end their Vanwas of development.

She said that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself hailed from a poor family, therefore, he has worked for the honour of the women and gave them toilets, gas connections. Further, she said that the Congress and the JMM had not taken any step for the medical treatment of the poor but Mr Modi through the Ayushman Bharat Bharat Yojana made sure that the poor too can get health treatment done at the best hospitals worth Rs 5 lakh.

Crediting the union government for working in the areas of water, power, homes and road construction she said that welfare schemes have reached all the sections without any discrimination. The Union Minister said that even Goddess Laxmi comes to the homes of the people sitting on the Lotus and not on Bow and Arrow.
