Assembly polls of 2019 will decide future of Jharkhand: Raghubar Das

Latehar/Lohardaga: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that assembly elections of 2014 will decide the future and direction of the state and claimed that the promise made by the Prime Minister of ‘Sampoorn Vikas’ has been fulfilled by his government.

Addressing couple of election rallies in Manika of Latehar district and in Lohardaga while campaigning for party candidates he said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah after becoming Union Home Minister removed the article 370 and 35 A from Jammu and Kashmir and also help the sisters get rid of triple talaq.

He said that in the last five years under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi development has taken place and law and order restored in Jharkhand.

He said that many areas of Latehar, Palamu and Garhwa were grappling with maoists problem but after a majority government came into power development has reaches these areas as network of roads have been laid, bridges have been constructed and power and water has reached in the homes of the people.

The Chief Minister said that the centre has set a target to provide water in all the homes by the year 2024 while the Jharkhand government wants to achieve the same by the year 2022. He said that the double engine government has provided gas cylinders in 33 lakh homes and under PMAY more than five lakh homes have been constructed.

Mr Das also accused the JMM and Congress of misleading the people over the domicile policy and said that as per the policy framed by his government in listed area for 10 years the third and fourth grade jobs have been reserved for locals.

Mr Das pointed that for the empowerment of the women 2.17 lakh sakhi mandals were formed which has helped them to stand on their feet and apart from that on just Re 1 property in the name of women are being registered in the state.
