New rules aimed to end jobs of thousands of says unified para teachers Morcha

Ranchi: The unified para teachers Sangharsh Morcha has said that the new rules which have been framed by the Jharkhand education project if implemented then it would end jobs of thousands of para teachers.

In a letter which the members of the Morcha wrote to Chief Minister Raghubar Das they have suspected their apprehension stating that it appears that the new rules have been framed to inflict damage on them and have also forwarded their suggestions to the state government.

The high-level committee which was formed to prepare the rules had uploaded the draft on the website on October 25th and had sought the suggestions of the para teachers and others till November 10.

The para teachers in their suggestions have said that their service should be made permanent and they should be given pay scale moreover the test or examination should be of 100 marks and they should be given an opportunity to appear in the exam for five-time and the examination should be conducted in a single phase moreover in the assessment exam instead of sixty percent of compulsory marks only 33 percent should be the required marks moreover the para teachers should not be asked to pay any fee for the assessment exam and after they clear the exam within a month the pay scale should be started.
