All polling booths to have drinking water, toilets and power facility

Ranchi: During the upcoming assembly elections in all the polling booths of the Ranchi district facilities of toilet, pure and clean drinking water, power and furniture would be available for the voters.

District electoral officer cum DC Rai Mahimpet Rey had directed the ROs to ensure assured minimum facility at all the polling booths of the district.

He said that apart from making arrangements for a separate road for coming and going out of the polling booths the arrows should give assured minimum facility certificate by November 4th and apart from that he also directed to make arrangements of ramp helpdesk signboard for the PWD voters.

He also asked the officials to prepare hoardings removal plan so that once the model code of conduct comes into effect the hoardings can be removed. He said that such booths that are categorized as vulnerable booths their schedule for flag March should be finalized and also directed the district transport officer to prepare the route chart.

Those present in the meeting also included DDC Anany Mittal SDO Lokesh Mishra SSP Anish Gupta and other officials.
