BJP takes swipe at Congress for its venue for Jan Aakrosh rally

Ranchi: The BJP took swipe at the Congress party over the venue which it has selected for its Jan Aakrosh rally to be held on Wednesday in the capital.

State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that by opting for a small venue like Vidhan Sabha grounds was a reflection of the stature of the Congress party in the state.

He said that in the country and in the state the Congress party was losing its support base rapidly and claimed that the people are so fed up with the Congress that they are keeping themselves away from its program he said that while on one hand the BJP apps for figure-ground such as Morabadi and Jagannath Maidan so that more and more people can become part of its program, on the other hand, the opposition parties due to their declining support base are opting for smaller venues.

He said that a few days ago the JMM had tried to fulfill its vested interest by indulging in politics over the choice of the venue and the party which had initially claimed to have accumulate support of 5 lakh people ended up doing its Rally at the Harmu Maidan which has the capacity of just 5000. He said that the condition of the opposition was an ample example to say that the people have already made up their minds to vote for a stable and strong government.
