BJP failed to fulfill promises to people has no right to seek their blessings : Oraon

Dumka: JPCC Chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon said that BJP had failed to fulfill its promises made to the people, therefore, Chief Minister Raghubar Das has no right to seek their blessings.

Addressing a press conference at the circuit house here he said that Mr Das had promised to the people that the entire Santhal Pargana region in the year 2018 would get 24 hours of power and said that he would not come to seek votes of the people if they are not provided power.

But in reality the Chief Minister has not been able to provide even 15-16 hours of power to the people, therefore, he has no right to seek the votes of the people.

Mr Oraon said that since 19 years of state creation for 16 years it is the BJP that has remained in power but people of the entire state including those from the Santhal Pargana region are struggling for power water roads and other basic amenities of life.

Mr Oraon said that the Congress party will stand together with all the other parties of the Mahagathbandhan to remove the BJP from power in the state.

Over the seat-sharing formula, he said that serious discussions was on between the allies and said that in days to come the real picture over seat-sharing will be out.

He said that as far as Santhal Pargana was concerned the Congress will field its candidates on at least 6-7 seats
