28,000 farmers to get benefit of Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana

Dumka: More than 28,000 farmers will be benefitted under Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana in a function which will be held today.

Addressing a press conference here Dumka DC Rajeshwari B said that Welfare Minister Louis Marandi will be starting the programme. She said that during the function in the accounts of 28,457 farmers of the district the first installment of funds under Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana will be transferred. She said that earlier a sum of Rs 21.81 crore has been already transferred in previously selected 61,929 farmers.

The DC said that under Pradhanmantri Kissan Samman Nidhi Yojana among 31668 farmers first installment of funds worth Rs 6.45 crore has been already transferred. She said that to make the farmers aware of the various schemes of the central and the state government a Kissan Sarthi Rath was moving in the district. Further, she also informed in detail the other schemes which are being implemented in the district.
