Koderma: Following a fight with her husband a pregnant woman committed suicide by jumping into the well at Buchitand village under Domchanch Police Station area of this district.
The body was spotted by the villagers who alerted the husband and in-laws of the woman and also the police. The deceased has been identified as Sangeeta Devi (27). The woman was married to one Vikas Yadav in the village since 2016.
Family members said that the woman had a heated altercation with her husband after which she left her home and when she failed to return a search was launched during which her body was later recovered from well.
A police team that arrived on the spot sent the body for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital. Further probe was on.
