
Ranchi: Leader of opposition Hemant Soren has accused the state government of inaugurating the newly constructed building of the Vidhansabha in a hurry for Electoral gains.
Addressing a press conference at his residence here he said that the state government had inaugurated the building of the new Vidhan Sabha in a hurry for taking advantage during the assembly polls for which all rules and regulations were set aside.
He said that it will still take another couple of months for the building to get ready but despite that OK certificate from the municipal corporation was taken. He also alleged that during the inauguration Governor Draupadi Murmu, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Neelkanth Singh Munda, Speaker Dinesh Oraon and Mayor Asha Lakra were ignored.
Hemant said that since he did not want to become part of inauguration of the building which has been done by obtaining fake certificate therefore he did not go in the inauguration ceremony and also is not participating in the assembly.
He also went on to allege that for the special session neither the Speaker or the Parliamentary affairs minister had spoken to him or sent him an invitation. Soren said that even the inauguration of the Sahibganj port terminal was a fake as it was also not ready and said that altercation had broken out between the administration and the displaced on the day of the inuaguration.
He claimed that through water ways the minerals of the state will be exploited and mafia in Jharkhand will increased and raised questions over the launch of pension schemes for farmers and small shop keepers. The former Chief Minister accused the administrative officials of working like workers of the BJP and warned them not to do any such act which might end their career.
He said that the state government was willing to go to any extent to ensure success of its programme and alleged that schools across the state were closed yesterday and all the buses were taken with the SPs and DCs assigned with the task to ensure crowd turnout at the venue.
