Warring factions of Jharkhand Congress reach peace accord

Ranchi: It appears that the central leadership of the Congress Party has managed to break peace between the warring factions of the Jharkhand Congress as the sides have been asked to keep quiet and not to indulge in a slugfest in the open.

Senior Congress leaders confirming the development said that till the Vidhan Sabha elections the party will move unitedly in the state. A high-level meeting was held in Delhi which was attended by the national general secretary of AICC K C Venugopal, in-charge for party affairs in Jharkhand RPN Singh and co-incharge Umang Singhar.
