Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry Secretary visits Itkhori in Chatra

Chatra: Secretary of the Union Information and Broadcasting ministry Amit Khare visited the Maa Bhadrakali temple located in Itkhori of this district during which he chaired a high-level meeting with the DC and the company executing the master plan of the temple.

Talking to the press after the meeting he said that to bring Jharkhand on the Tourism Map of the world the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has commenced its works. He said that Jharkhand was full of spots of religious and natural beauty which would be developed so that they can be brought on to a global scale.

He said that from tourism point of view Chatra district is full of potential as it has the confluence of three major religions and said that efforts are on to link the spots of Chatra with Jain and the Buddh circuit so the people from all over the world can visit these place.

During the meeting, Mr Khare also saw the presentation for the development of the temple and its surrounding areas.
