Man kills wife later hangs himself in Chanho of Ranchi

Ranchi: A person murdered his wife and later also hanged himself under Chanho Police Station area of this district.

Police on Sunday first recovered the body of the man and when they reached his home they found his wives' body. Later both of them were sent to post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Vikas Toppo (55) who killed his wife Teresa Toppo (50).

Villagers said that the man often used to consume liquor due to which the couple often use to quarrel with each other. Police said that it was the villagers who spotted the body hanging from a tree in Minalai Pahadi after which police reached on the spot and identified his body. The duo has a daughter who was married long back.
