Latehar: In a joint action by the district police and CRPF personnel three Maoists were arrested from Balumath Police Station area of this district along with levy and 1548 live cartridges.
Latehar SP Prashant Anand said that he had received a tip off that members of maoist squad led by Paramjeet were coming to Titir Mahua forest to collect levy after which a team of district police and CRPF were sent on the spot and three maoists were arrested along with Rs 38,000 in levy.
The SP said that from the arrested 1548 cartridges of 7.62mm of AK-47 have been recovered, a grenade, two mobiles, four maoists pamphlets and a bike was recovered
