Two bullet hit bodies of suspected ex-Maoists found in Sonua of Chakardharpur

Chakardharpur: Couple of bullet hit bodies were found in Mayelpidi village under Sonua Police Station area of the West Singhbhum district.

The deceased have been identified as Bagun Bodra and Dango Munda (35). Their bodies were spotted by the locals who alerted the police.

A police team which reached on the spot found that the hands of both were tied from behind and they were shot in the head. Local sources claimed that the duo were former Maoists who were gunned down by the Maoists as they had parted ways from the organization.

On the other hand, speaking to Kolhan DIG Kuldeep Dwivedi said that it was too early to say whether these men were killed by Maoists or not as it was still being probed. He said that even it was not possible to comment whether these men were former ultras or not.
