Mega Voter Help Desk Camp to Be Held at All Polling Stations in Deoghar on October 10

A one-day Mega Help Desk Camp will be organised at all polling stations across Jharkhand's Deoghar district on October 10 to facilitate the disposal of pending applications under the 2026 Special Summary Revision (SSR) of electoral rolls and assist eligible citizens with voter registration.

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania held a meeting with representatives of recognised political parties on Thursday and briefed them about the proposed campaign.

The camp will primarily focus on resolving pending applications and addressing voter-related issues under SSR-2026. Citizens who are eligible but have not yet been included in the electoral roll will also be provided assistance and guidance at their respective polling stations.

Officials said the help desks are intended to make the revision process more accessible to voters and provide an opportunity to address application-related issues at the local polling-station level.

The Deputy Commissioner urged representatives of all recognised political parties to extend their cooperation and help create awareness about the camp among eligible citizens.

Deputy Election Officer Sagari Baral, representatives of recognised political parties and other officials concerned attended the meeting.

The initiative is expected to provide voters with a convenient platform to seek clarification on electoral-roll applications and complete the necessary enrolment process.
