JSCA Annual General Meeting Held in Ranchi, Audited Accounts Unanimously Adopted

Ranchi, August 30, 2026: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) was held on Sunday at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi, with around 400 members from across Jharkhand attending the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by JSCA President Ajay Nath Shahdeo in the presence of Vice-President Sanjay Pandey, Honorary Secretary Saurabh Tiwary, Honorary Treasurer Amitava Ghosh and Honorary Joint Secretary Shahbaz Nadeem. Members of the Committee of Management were also present.
During the AGM, members confirmed the proceedings of the previous Annual General Meeting as well as the Special General Meeting held on August 25, 2026. The audited statement of accounts for the financial year 2025-26 was presented before the house and unanimously adopted.
The association also nominated Justice Virendra Singh, former Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, as the Ombudsman and Ethics Officer of JSCA.
Honorary Secretary Saurabh Tiwary highlighted the achievements of JSCA's players and teams during the past year. He particularly mentioned JSCA's title-winning performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Tiwary also announced the names of the selectors for the men's and women's teams for the upcoming season.
The members further confirmed various decisions taken by the Committee of Management during the previous year, including the decision to expel S. B. Singh from the membership of the association.
The AGM concluded with members reaffirming the decisions taken by the association and reviewing its administrative and sporting activities for the year.
