Former Jharkhand minister Mithilesh Thakur has criticised those protesting over the JPSC-JSSC controversy, saying that the genuine students who have been preparing for examinations have already received justice and that the matter is now before the court.
Thakur said those concerned should wait for the court's decision and maintain faith in the judicial process. He argued that the issue should not be turned into a political battle while the legal proceedings are underway.
The former minister alleged that the BJP was attempting to mislead students and use the protests for political purposes. He claimed that some people were misleading students in the name of the agitation and questioning the judicial process.

According to Thakur, students who are genuinely focused on their studies are continuing their preparation and are satisfied with the steps taken so far, while some of those protesting on the streets are allegedly associated with the BJP.
Thakur also objected to the alleged use of inappropriate language by some young women participating in the protests. He accused BJP leaders and workers of attempting to give a political colour to the issue.
He further alleged that some individuals were using students' concerns as a platform to pursue their own political ambitions, including aspirations of becoming MLAs or MPs.
Thakur said issues concerning students should be kept separate from political interests and urged those involved in the controversy to respect the judicial process and await the court's verdict.
The JPSC-JSSC issue has remained a sensitive matter among job aspirants in Jharkhand, with questions surrounding recruitment processes and examination-related disputes drawing protests and political reactions. The latest comments are likely to add another dimension to the ongoing political debate over the issue.
