




Shekhar Suman Deoghar: Hardapeeth Baidyanath Foundation organised the Late Vardhan Khawade Talent Award Ceremony at Takshashila Vidyapeeth auditorium, where around 350 students who excelled in Class 10, Class 12 and other examinations were honoured with mementoes and certificates. The programme was chaired by social worker Dr. Sunil Khawade, while Ramakrishna Mission Principal Swami Divya Sudanand attended as the chief guest.
During the event, Dr. Khawade announced the Phoolmani Devi Scholarship for meritorious girl students. Under the scheme, girls securing the highest marks in the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations will receive a cash award of Rs 11,000 to support their higher education. The beneficiaries will be selected by the foundation.Dr. Khawade said the foundation is committed to recognising and encouraging talented students. He added that the award ceremony would be organised on a larger scale in the coming years to motivate young achievers in education, sports and other fields. He also said that his inspiration for social service came from his parents, Late Vardhan Khawade and Late Phoolmani Devi, as well as his freedom fighter ancestors.Swami Divya Sudanand emphasised the importance of values along with education and described the programme as an inspiring initiative for the younger generation. Former Deoghar College Principal Prof. Sundar Charan Mishra highlighted the social contributions of Late Vardhan Khawade and said his legacy of public service is being carried forward.
Among those who addressed the gathering were Dr. Nripendra Singh Lingwal, Sarveshwar Dutt Dwari and Ramsevak Singh Gunjan. The programme was attended by educationists, social workers, foundation members and a large number of students. Somesh Pandit conducted the proceedings.
