New team constituted to strengthen yoga sports activities and promote talent across the district

Deoghar: A meeting for the formation of the district committee of the Yogasana Sports Association, Deoghar, was held on Thursday at the conference hall of KKN Stadium. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sunil Khawade, President of the Deoghar District Olympic Association.The participants held detailed discussions on the development of yogasana sports, encouragement of young athletes and the need to strengthen and organize yoga-related sporting activities across the district. Members unanimously emphasized the importance of a strong district-level body and shared suggestions for the promotion and expansion of yogasana sports.Vipin Pandey, Chief Advisor of the Yogasana Sports Association, Jharkhand, briefed the gathering on the scope, significance and future prospects of yogasana sports. Following his presentation, the process of constituting the district committee was initiated and names for various posts were discussed.
After deliberations, office-bearers were elected unanimously. Dr. Sunil Khawade was named Chief Patron, while Sanjay Malviya was appointed Patron. Virendra Kumar Singh was elected President of the district committee.Rupashree, Prem Kesari, Nirmal Kumar, Rajesh Shringari and Mahesh Lath were appointed Vice Presidents. Rishiraj Singh was elected Secretary, Rajshree Malviya was named Treasurer and Soni Singh was appointed Assistant Treasurer.
Dr. Chetna Bharti, Biplab Biswas and Santosh Pal were selected as Joint Secretaries. The Executive Committee includes Rakesh Kumar Roy, Ashutosh Kumar alias Jimmy, Mrigendra Kumar, Gautam Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Krishna Kumar and Mohit Kesari. Ashish Jha and Dharmendra Dev were inducted into the Advisory Committee. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sunil Khawade and Vipin Pandey congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and called upon all members to work collectively to build a strong and vibrant organization. They expressed confidence that coordinated efforts would help popularize yogasana sports and create greater opportunities for athletes in the district.Among those present at the meeting were Sanjay Malviya, Ashish Jha, Dharmendra Dev, Virendra Kumar Singh, Rishiraj Singh, Rupashree, Rajshree Malviya, Soni Singh, Rakesh Kumar Roy, Ashutosh Kumar, Biplab Biswas, Gautam Kumar, Dr. Chetna Bharti, Rajesh Shringari and Mohit Kesari, along with a large number of sports enthusiasts and stakeholders from the district.
