
Deoghar. In a swift action, Deoghar Nagar Thana police have solved a house theft case from Pokhanatilla Kailashpuri locality and arrested three accused persons involved in the crime. The case relates to Nagar Thana Case No. 134/26 dated 28 March 2026.According to police, on the night of 26 March 2026, unidentified thieves broke into the locked house of Munna Mishra, son of Bhola Mishra, and stole valuable household items including an LED TV, inverter, battery and other electronic goods. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at Nagar Thana and a special investigation team was formed on the instructions of senior police officials.The investigation team used technical analysis, human intelligence and CCTV footage to trace the accused. Based on coordinated efforts, the police successfully detected the case and arrested three individuals involved in the burglary. Stolen items were also recovered during the operation. Recovered goods include a red-colored lehenga, a blue trolley bag of Metron company, a Philips coffee machine, a Realme 32-inch LED TV, an SF Sony inverter, a Vexide battery and a green-colored trolley bag of Compliant company.During interrogation, the accused confessed that they used to conduct recce of locked houses during the daytime and commit theft during the night when they found an opportunity. They further admitted that they committed such crimes for personal gain.
The arrested accused have been identified as Krish Kumar, 19 years, son of Vikash Varnawal, resident of Salonatand under Nagar police station; Bhavishya Kumar alias Chhotu, 24 years, son of Kapildev Modi, originally from Tarabad Kusumdiha under Rikhia police station and currently residing at Khaprodih; and Ayush Kumar Jha, 18 years, son of Rupesh Kumar Jha, resident of Engineer Colony, Khaprodih under Rikhia police station, Deoghar.
The police team involved in the operation included Station In-charge Mukesh Kumar, investigating officer Suman Prasad, and officers Ghanshyam Ganjhu, Suraj Kumar, Arun Dutta Sharma along with the Nagar Thana reserve guard.
