Patients to Receive Free Treatment Every Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM

Deoghar: Renowned physician Dr. S. C. Nayak has started a free medical service initiative for patients in Deoghar and nearby areas, setting an inspiring example of humanity and social service. Under this initiative, patients will receive free medical consultation and treatment twice a week.The service officially began on Friday. Every Friday and Saturday, patients can avail themselves of free treatment from 9 AM to 9 PM. Along with consultation, most medicines will also be provided free of cost to needy patients.Dr. Nayak said Deoghar, the city of Baba Baidyanath, is known for service and devotion. While many devotees contribute through food and water distribution, he decided to serve society through his medical profession. He added that human service is the greatest duty of a doctor.According to Dr. Nayak, inspiration from Swami Satyananda Saraswati and Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, along with his association with Rikhia Ashram, motivated him to work for rural patients. He observed that villagers often become aware of illnesses only after the condition worsens. His effort will be to identify diseases at an early stage so that patients can recover quickly and avoid serious complications.Dr. Nayak stated that he would continue serving poor and needy patients throughout his life. His initiative has been widely appreciated in Deoghar, with many considering it a significant relief for underprivileged patients seeking medical care.
