Ranchi: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Thursday declared the Class 10 board examination results, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.27%.

Priyanshu Kumari topped the state by scoring 498 out of 500 marks, achieving an exceptional 99.60%.

As per official figures, 4,24,001 students had registered for the matriculation exams this year, while 4,22,109 appeared. Out of these, 4,02,178 students successfully passed the examination.

The results highlight strong academic performance across categories, with 2,26,957 students securing first division. Additionally, 1,60,673 students passed in second division, and 14,548 students cleared the exam in third division.

Students can check their results online on the official websites — jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in — by entering their roll code and roll number. The results are also accessible via DigiLocker.

JAC has stated that the online results are provisional. Original mark sheets and pass certificates will be distributed through respective schools in due course. Students who have cleared the exam should contact their schools to collect the necessary documents for admission to higher secondary classes.

Officials said that proper technical arrangements were put in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free result declaration, even under heavy online traffic. They added that this year’s high pass percentage reflects better academic preparedness, improved teaching quality, and ongoing reforms in the education system.
