Gaurav Gogoi visits Baba Baidyanath Dham; prays for Assam’s prosperity

DEOGHAR:— Following the conclusion of the 2026 Assam Assembly elections, Member of Parliament and Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President, Gaurav Gogoi, arrived in the temple town of Deoghar on Tuesday. The senior leader visited the historic Baba Baidyanath Dham to perform a special puja and seek spiritual blessings.

During his visit, Mr. Gogoi offered prayers at the sacred Jyotirlinga, wishing for the peace, prosperity, and bright future of the people of Assam. Following the temple rituals, he visited the Satsang Ashram, where he sought guidance from spiritual leaders and prayed for national unity and brotherhood.
Addressing the media, the MP emphasized the importance of the democratic process. "In a democracy, the mandate of the people is supreme," Mr. Gogoi stated. "It is the primary duty of every representative to honor public sentiment and work tirelessly for the development and collective growth of the citizens."
The visit saw a significant gathering of local leaders, including District President Rajendra Das, State Secretary Awadhesh Prajapati, and senior leader Ashok Singh. Also present were District General Secretary Ganesh Das, City President Ravi Kesari, and youth leaders Deepak Kumar Singh, Rahul Raj, and Golu Kumar.
