IIIT Ranchi Inaugurates "Technical Events" of Celestio 3.0 with Enthusiastic Participation and Inspiring Speaker Session

Ranchi: Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi formally inaugurated Technical Events of Celestio 3.0 , its annual techno-cultural festival, with a ceremonial opening at the ARTTC BSNL Campus on Monday - 13th April, 2026 . The three-day fest commenced on an energetic and forward-looking note, bringing together students, faculty members, and participants from multiple institutions.

The inauguration ceremony, held at 11:30 AM, reflected the institute’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and collaborative learning. The event was formally declared open by Dr. Shashi Kant Sharma. This was followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Shashi Kant Sharma, Dr. Roshan Singh, Dr. J.K. Mishra, Dr. Santosh Kumar Mahto, Dr. Gaurav Sundaram, and Mr. Rishikesh Pandey.

Adding a cultural essence to the ceremony, members of the Saaz Club presented a graceful Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for the success of the festival. The dignitaries were felicitated in recognition of their presence and contributions, further enriching the significance of the occasion.

During the opening remarks, the organizing team outlined the extensive lineup of technical and cultural events planned for Celestio 3.0. The festival aims to provide a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful interactions across disciplines.

A major highlight of the inaugural day was the Speaker Session delivered by Mr. Rishikesh Pandey, which proved to be both inspiring and insightful. Widely regarded as one of the most influential educators in Jharkhand, Mr. Pandey is known for his impactful mission “?? ?? ????? ??????”, aimed at making quality education accessible to all. He is also the Founder of Second School, a transformative educational initiative dedicated to uplifting underprivileged students across Jharkhand and fostering a sustainable and inclusive learning ecosystem.

The event was held under the patronage of the Hon’ble Director of IIIT Ranchi, Prof. Rajeev Srivastava.

The inaugural ceremony seamlessly transitioned into the day’s technical event, marking a promising start to the festival. With strong participation and an inspiring beginning, Celestio 3.0 is poised to emerge as a significant celebration of talent, innovation, and collaboration.
