
Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, took a significant step toward strengthening academic collaboration by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur.
On this occasion, NUSRL welcomed two prominent academic leaders — Prof. (Dr.) Shashikala Gurpur, Dean, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, DNLU, Jabalpur. The guests were received by NUSRL Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R. Patil.
The MoUs aim to facilitate joint research initiatives, academic exchange programs, faculty development, publication collaborations, and resource sharing between the institutions.

Prof. (Dr.) Shashikala Gurpur addressed students during a special session on “Patient Safety and the Role of AI in Healthcare.” She emphasized the increasing relevance of artificial intelligence in the health sector and urged students to engage with its applications critically. Later, she met with faculty members to discuss strategies for enhancing academic writing and publication output.
Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha conducted an interactive session with faculty, focusing on emerging technologies, collaborative research models, and innovative approaches to academic development.
Both visiting dignitaries expressed optimism about the collaboration, stressing the value of inter-university partnerships in addressing contemporary academic and societal challenges.
NUSRL Vice-Chancellor Prof Ashok R. Patil said, “These partnerships reflect our commitment to creating a dynamic and research-driven academic environment. This collaboration will enhance opportunities for our students and faculty alike.”
