Monsoon Session of Jharkhand Assembly to Begin Tomorrow

Ranchi: The monsoon session of the Jharkhand Assembly will commence on Friday, August 1, and continue till August 7. To ensure smooth proceedings, Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato held an all-party meeting on Thursday, which was attended by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi, and other senior leaders.

CM Soren called for constructive discussions on public issues, stating that the Assembly must serve as a platform for the people's voice. He assured that the government is ready to respond with facts and logic to every concern raised by the opposition.

Speaker Mahato urged members to maintain decorum and participate actively, highlighting that key legislative discussions are scheduled.

Marandi, expressing concern over the short duration of the session, said the BJP Legislature Party would meet Friday morning to plan its approach. He also accused the government of failing public expectations.

The opposition is expected to target the government on issues such as law and order, development programs, and policy decisions.
