
Ranchi – The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) celebrated the birthday of senior party leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday with a special event at the Ranchi Press Club, featuring a photo exhibition dedicated to his life and work.
The exhibition showcased a curated collection of images from Rahul Gandhi’s visits to Jharkhand and key moments from his national political journey. A symbolic cake-cutting ceremony was also held, drawing a large crowd of party leaders, workers, and supporters.
State in-charge K. Raju, JPCC President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, and several senior Congress leaders were in attendance. They collectively pledged to uphold Rahul Gandhi’s vision of social justice and constitutional values.
K. Raju stated, “Joining Rahul Gandhi’s movement for social equality is the best birthday tribute we can offer. He has always stood to protect the Constitution’s core ideals.”
JPCC President Kamlesh declared 2025 as “Organisation Building Year,” vowing to strengthen the Congress presence in every part of the state.
Former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay praised Rahul Gandhi’s dedication to democracy and justice, calling him an inspiration for millions.
Senior leaders and ministers including Deepika Pandey Singh, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Rameshwar Oraon, Pradeep Balmuchu, Rajesh Thakur, and Bandhu Tirkey also attended the event.
