Ranchi DC and SSP inspected booths in sensitive areas of Bundu block

Ranchi: District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha and Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha inspected booths in sensitive areas of Bundu block on Friday. During this, DC held a review meeting in the auditorium of Bundu block office to review the preparations for Lok Sabha elections 2024.

In order to ensure the arrangement of drinking water/toilet/electricity at the polling stations in the district, DC has visited Bundu block's upgraded middle school Husirhatu, Bundu, booth no. 10, government primary school Churugi, booth no. 15 and 16, government middle school Baruhatu, Inspected booth number-18 and 19. 

In the meeting, many necessary guidelines related to elections were given to all the concerned sector officers, sector police officers, police station in-charges and all election related officers and personnel.

In the meeting, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sumit Kumar Aggarwal, Electoral Registration Officer-cum-Sub-Divisional Officer, Bundu Lal Mohan Marandi, Land Reforms Deputy Collector Bundu Chhavi Barla, Block Development Officer Bundu Renu Kumari, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer-cum-Circle Officer Bundu.

Pawan Kumar, Deputy Director Social Security Cell Ranchi Ravi Shankar Mishra, Police Station Incharge, Tamar, all sector officers and all police sector officers and related officers are present. During the inspection, the DC inspected all the booths to provide basic facilities at the polling booths and instructed the concerned officer to maintain cleanliness at the polling booths by following all the guidelines given by the Election Commission of India. 

It was said to ensure provision of drinking water, toilet facilities, make alternative arrangements for electricity in polling stations, provide minimum basic facilities in schools and complete it in time. During this, he made special inspections of booths in sensitive areas, so that voting could be conducted in a fear-free environment. Regarding this, a thorough inspection was carried out to ensure all the security arrangements at the polling stations.

District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Rahul Kumar Sinha, while inspecting the polling booths, while looking at all the necessary arrangements at the booths, said that all the necessary services required at the booths should be ensured for the forces staying here during the elections. So that there should not be any kind of problem while staying at the booths. Therefore, all the concerned officers should see in advance that all the necessary services are available at the booths on time.
