Illegal liquor factory busted, three arrested including Naresh Singhania

Ranchi: The team of the excise department has busted a big factory manufacturing fake foreign liquor.

Under the leadership of Assistant Excise Commissioner Arun Mishra of the Excise Department, the team conducted a raid in Lowadih of Namkum late on Wednesday evening and seized a huge quantity of fake liquor of different foreign brands, empty bottles, spirits, stickers and other chemicals.

During the raid, the product team also arrested fake liquor manufacturing kingpin Naresh Singhania and his two associates.

The product team is interrogating the arrested accused. Naresh Singhania was making fake foreign liquor for a long time.

This information was received by the product department team.

The arrested accused told the excise department team that they were preparing fake liquor by mixing chemicals in spirit.

They were preparing fake liquor of foreign brands, which is sold at low rates in the market.

During the raid, the excise department team found 20 to 25 boxes of ready-made spurious liquor.

The team of the excise department has also seized spirits in big jars.

Illegal liquor traders used to transport stolen spirit from Kolkata and sell it by stealing it from tankers.
