Education department to pay the retiring teachers in 3 months

Ranchi:  Officers, teachers and employees retiring from Jharkhand School Education and Literacy Department will be given all dues and certificates three months before retirement. Departmental Secretary Uma Shankar Singh has issued a letter directing this.

The decision to complete all the work three months in advance has been taken because every day the retiring employees go to court due to non-payment of their dues. Due to which the work of the department gets hampered. Keeping these matters in mind, the departmental secretary has given instructions. For this, preparations are being made in the block level education office including the department.

The work will start as soon as the preparations are completed. If departmental action is going on against someone, then he has to complete all the cases 7 months before retirement. A cell is to be created in the office of District Education Officer and District Education Superintendent. Everyone's data has to be kept in the repository. Work has to be done on this basis.

It has been instructed in the issued letter that if anyone is negligent in this work, then action should be initiated against him and the department should also be informed. Even after this, if someone goes to court, or someone's negligence is found, then it has been said that strict action will be taken against this also.
