Create awareness regarding govt schemes so that person on last strata of society can be benefitted: Sunil Kumar Barnwal

Ranchi: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and IPRD secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal has directed the officials of IPRD to create awareness regarding the schemes of the state government in such a manner so that people living in the fringe of the society can take its benefits. 

In a review meet with the officials of the IPRD and the DPROs he directed to create maximum awareness regarding the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana and suggested to take help of Nukkad Nataks and also asked the DPROs to surrender the funds which are left unutilized in first week of March. He asked the DPROs of the district of the Santhal Pargana and East Singhbhum district to wok on making announcements in the Santhali Language at the railway stations and also
asked them to be prepared for the election-related works and use the LED vans for voter awareness programmes and also instructed them to keep an eye on the activities in the district and increase the number of press releases. 

He also asked the officials to prepare a planned budget for the expenditure to be incurred on creating awareness of government schemes and said that there would be no lack of funds. He also suggested making maximum utilization of social media to create awareness regarding the various schemes of the government. He also extended his best wishes to the newly appointed APROs and SMPOs and asked them to work with education as next month review of their work would be done. In the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on schemes for which awareness needed to be created among the people. 

On the other hand, IPRD Director Ramlakhan Gupta asked to establish coordination with media to spread awareness among the common people regarding the schemes of the government. Those present on the occasion also included Additional Secretary Ramakant Singh, deputy directors, division deputy directors and DPROs.
