Weather may change in Jharkhand from Monday as rain and thunderstorm predicted

Ranchi: Scorching heat is creating trouble for people in Jharkhand as the temperature is around 40 in most of the districts.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there can be relief from the heat for the coming five days as light to moderate rain may occur during these five days which may cause a slight drop in temperature. On the other hand, Daltonganj was the hottest on Sunday. 

The maximum temperature here was recorded at 43 degree Celsius. The lowest temperature was recorded in Chaibasa. The maximum temperature recorded here was 24 degree Celsius.

As far as weather for the coming week is concerned the MET has predicted strong surface wind (max speed: 30-40 kmph) very likely over southern parts of Jharkhand (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela) with thunder/ thundershower at isolated places.

While on Tuesday strong surface wind (Maximum speed: 30-40 kmph) very likely with thunder/thundershowers at isolated places over the state.

On Wednesday Heatwave/heat wave conditions are very likely at isolated places over the northwest (Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar) and southeast (East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela) of the state.
