Mnrega Commissioner Rajeshwari B takes over additional charge of DG State Nutrition Mission Jharkhand

Ranchi: An Indian Administrative Service officer of 2011 batch Rajeshwari B on Monday took over as Director-General, State Nutrition Mission Jharkhand and Di rec tor-cum-Member Secretary, Jharkhand State Child Protection Society, Jharkhand.

Apart from this, she will also continue to hold an additional charge- Director Panchayati Raj Department.

After taking over the charge she met all the officers and employees of the office. While directing the office workers, she said that all officers and employees should pay special attention that no work and court files remain pending. Rajeshwari B said that behind every file there are important problems and problems of the people, which is very important to get redressed in time therefore employees should work to the best of their ability.

She supervised various divisions of the child protection scheme. During this, a total of 02 state-run children’s homes, 21 NGO-run children’s homes, and 47 self-sustained children’s homes by NGOs, besides information about the residence of children in 11 communication homes and 9 special adoption institutions were obtained. More than 2000 children of the state are residing in these homes. Those who need care, and protection from the state.

In the course of the review, the director told all the employees that it is an important task to reunite the children who are facing adversity and trouble at an early age and their overall development.
