Bigg Boss 16 fame Archana Gautam’s Mumbai cafe robbed, actress seeks swift police action

Actress and reality television personality Archana Gautam has reported a theft at her Mumbai cafe, saying a thief broke into the outlet and allegedly stole the entire cash counter.

Archana shared CCTV footage of the incident on social media, expressing shock and disappointment over the robbery. The footage appears to show a person entering the cafe and carrying away the cash counter.

The actress said she has lodged an FIR and appealed to the Mumbai Police to take prompt action. Sharing the footage, she urged other business owners and residents to remain vigilant and strengthen security at their premises.

“I am sharing this CCTV footage of a theft at my cafe in Mumbai with all of you so that you too stay alert and take care of the security of your homes and businesses,” Archana wrote.

She said the cafe was built with considerable personal effort and investment, making the incident particularly distressing.

“I built this cafe with a lot of love and hard work, investing my savings into it. I personally put a lot of effort into bringing every little thing together. But a thief broke into my cafe and stole the entire cash counter,” she said.

Archana said she had always considered Mumbai a safe city and that the incident had left her particularly upset.

“Mumbai has always felt like a safe city to me, which is why this incident has made me even more sad. I just want to request everyone to stay alert, stay safe and pay attention to the security around you,” she said.

The CCTV footage shared by the actress appears to document the theft inside the cafe, which serves churros and other desserts along with waffles, pancakes, coffee, milkshakes and savoury items.

Archana entered the food business in October 2025 when she opened the Mumbai outlet. Her interest in cooking was also visible during her appearance on Celebrity MasterChef India.

She rose to wider popularity after participating in Bigg Boss 16 and subsequently appeared in reality shows including Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Celebrity MasterChef India. She has also worked as an actress and model and previously participated in beauty pageants.
