Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday chaired a high level meeting over the law and order situation during which he issued strict instructions to the officials.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to identify the hardcore criminals and asked them to take strict action against them. He said that to control the crime police should be sensitive and also remain alert.
The Chief Minister said that maintaining law and order is the main responsibility of the state government. He said that when the law and order situation will be correct then only development activities will gather pace and the people will get the real benefits of the schemes.
The Chief Minister also expressed his concern over the broad daylight firing in Morhabadi and asked the officials to make sure that none of the culprits should be spared.
Chief Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, DGP Neeraj Sinha, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajeev Arun Ekka, Town Commissioner Mukesh Kumar and Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha were present on the occasion.
