BJYM leader files complaint against Director and star cast of 'Tandav' at Argora Police Station

Ranch: State vice president of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Surya Prabhat on Wednesday filed a complaint at the Argora Police Station area of the capital against the director and cast of 'Tandav' being showcased on an OTT Platform.

The complainant has demanded that the fir should be registered against director Ali Abbas Zafar and other members of the star cast and also the writer and producer of the series. In the complaint it has been said that in the first part of the series itself derogatory language has been used against the Hindu gods and goddesses. It is said that a deliberate attempt has been made to destroy the communal and religious harmony in the country by the means of the series.

On the other hand, members of the ABVP on Wednesday also staged a protest march in the capital over the issue and demanded that the scenes should be withdrawn. A march was also taken out from the Ranchi University Campus to Albert Ekka Chowk over the issue.
