Major administrative reshuffle in Jharkhand: 24 IAS officials transferred and posted

The Jharkhand government on Tuesday transferred and posted 24 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in a major administrative reshuffle.

The Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasha Department issued a notification regarding the transfers and postings.

According to the notification, Director-cum-Special Secretary of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department Virendra Bhushan has been transferred and posted as Inspector General (IG), Prisons. Giridih Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar has been appointed as the new Ranchi Town Commissioner.

Latehar DDC Anil Kumar Singh has been transferred as Director, Sports, while Shishir Kumar Sinha, Project Director of the Holistic Tribal Development Authority in Dumka, has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department.

Hazaribagh DDC Rajesh Kumar Pathak has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Health Department, while Lohardaga DDC Sashidhar Mandal has been transferred as Additional Secretary, Power Department.

Garhwa DDC Chandra Mohan Kashyap has been appointed Town Commissioner of Dhanbad and will also hold additional charge as Managing Director of MADA.

West Singhbhum DDC Kamleshwar Prasad Singh has been transferred as Joint Secretary in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. IG Prisons Harsh Mangal has been posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Garhwa.

Dhanbad Town Commissioner Rajeev Ranjan has been transferred as Director, State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD).

Palamu Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar has been appointed Director of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) and will also hold additional charge as Additional Director (Administration) at RIMS.

Ranchi Town Commissioner Shantanu Kumar Agrahari has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Palamu, while Garhwa DC Neha Arora has been posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Giridih.

Transport Commissioner Faiz Haq Ahmed will also hold additional charge as Director, Panchayati Raj.

Among other postings, Dhanbad SDO Ananya Mittal has been transferred as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Simdega. Dhalbhumgarh SDO Madhvi Mishra has been appointed DDDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Latehar.

Hazaribagh Sadar SDO Aditya Ranjan has been posted as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Chaibasa, while Godda SDO Naman Priyesh Lakra will take charge as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Garhwa.

Giridih SDO Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao has been transferred as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Hazaribagh. Chaibasa SDO R. Ranita has been posted as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Lohardaga.

Deoghar SDO Ramnivas Yadav will be the new DDC-cum-CEO of Zilla Parishad, Pakur, while Ranchi SDO Anjali Yadav has been transferred as DDC-cum-CEO, Zilla Parishad, Khunti.
