Ramgarh: The district police on Saturday conducted a special drive against illegal liquor manufacturing during which a couple of men were arrested.
Officer in charge for Ramgarh Police Station Vidya Shankar said that in Belwatand of Kaitha a raid was conducted during which 35 litres of country-made liquor through Mahua was destroyed and 400 kilograms of 'Jawa Mahua' was destroyed.
Two people who were manufacturing the liquor identified as Ganesh Munda and Dabloo Munda were also arrested from the spot.
On the other hand under Kujju OP a raid was conducted in the forest area during which 20 litres of prepared liquor and 100 kilograms of Mahua was destroyed
