Garhwa: A youth lost his life as an auto-rickshaw in which he was travelling overturned at Pindra village under Meral Police Station area of this district.
Post the incident the villagers blocked traffic movement on the Garhwa-Manjhiaon main road demanding compensation and action against the driver. However, post the intervention of the police the jam was called off after nearly 90 minutes.
The deceased was identified as Indresh Kumar (18) a resident of Kamarwa village. He was traveling to Garhwa on the autorickshaw when near Pindra village the vehicle overturned as the driver lost control in which Indresh was killed. Later the body was sent for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
