Adah Sharma's 'Witch' Prank Helps End Child's Midnight Tantrums, Leaves Fans in Splits

Mumbai: Actress Adah Sharma left her fans laughing after sharing a hilarious late-night incident in which she claimed to have calmed a tantrum-throwing child in a neighbouring hotel room by pretending to be a spooky witch.

Posting a video on social media, Adah showed herself making eerie sounds through the wall in an attempt to scare the child into settling down. She jokingly warned that a witch would appear if the child didn't stop crying, and, according to her, the playful trick worked.

In a lengthy caption, the actress recounted how the child had allegedly been keeping everyone awake over the past few nights with repeated tantrums. She claimed the youngster cried because he wanted food served on the bed instead of a plate, demanded a late-night swim at around 3 a.m., and insisted on watching a television show at 2 a.m., leaving even his parents unsure of what he wanted.

Adah said she finally decided to intervene in her own quirky way, hoping that the child, his parents and everyone nearby could enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. She jokingly added that a good night's rest might finally help her get rid of her dark circles.

The actress also revealed in the comments section that the child's mother later sent her sweets as a thank-you gesture after the prank apparently helped calm the youngster.

Known for her offbeat sense of humour, Adah frequently entertains followers with funny videos, candid observations and quirky sketches on everyday life. She is also appreciated for her fluency in Marathi and often shares Marathi poems while celebrating Maharashtrian culture on social media.

On the professional front, Adah made her Bollywood debut with the 2008 horror film 1920. She later appeared in films including Hasee Toh Phasee, Commando 2, Commando 3 and The Kerala Story, the latter becoming one of the biggest commercial hits of her career.
