Anupama Parameswaran Says She Has Found Her Freedom: ‘I Choose My Voice’

Chennai- Actress Anupama Parameswaran has shared an emotional message on social media, saying she has finally found peace and is ready to live life on her own terms without fear or seeking anyone's permission.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the actress hinted at moving on from a difficult phase in her life. "Sometimes, you have to let go of the dead ends to finally find your peace. And today, peace found me," she wrote.

Anupama went on to say that she was reclaiming her life and identity. "From today, I choose my voice. I choose my life. No more permissions. No more fear. Just me, finding my way back to myself and falling in love with the life I almost forgot was mine," she wrote, adding that there was something she had wanted to tell her fans for a long time but had not been allowed to say.

Expressing gratitude to her supporters, the actress thanked everyone who stood by her through challenging times. She said every message, prayer and act of kindness had reached her when she needed them the most.

She ended the post on a hopeful note, writing, "Here's to healing. Here's to freedom. Here's to choosing myself. And here's to a life that is finally, completely, unapologetically my own."

On the professional front, Anupama will next be seen in director Sampath Nandi's action drama "Bhogi", starring Sharwanand in the lead role.

Earlier this year, the makers unveiled her first look as Kandula Sulochana Rani, portraying her as a barefoot village woman walking along a dusty rural path. According to sources, the character is deeply connected to nature and earns her livelihood by making traditional leaf plates from Moduga leaves. Sulochana is expected to be portrayed as a woman of resilience and quiet determination.

The makers have also revealed that Sharwanand plays a character named Ganga in the much-awaited action thriller.
