'Forever Grateful': Nayanthara Marks 22 Years in Film Industry

Chennai – South cinema superstar Nayanthara has completed 22 years in the film industry and took to social media to express her heartfelt gratitude. She reflected on her journey, saying that every frame, every shot, and every moment of silence has shaped and healed her, making her who she is today.

Sharing a handwritten note on her Instagram stories, Nayanthara wrote:
"Twenty-two years since I first stood in front of the camera, not knowing movies would become the love of my life. Every frame, every shot, every silence… shaped me, healed me and made me who I am. Forever grateful."

Her post coincided with the release of the first-look posters of her upcoming film ‘Hi’, in which she stars opposite actor Kavin.

The romantic entertainer, jointly produced by Zee Studios South, The Rowdy Pictures, and Seven Screen Studios, also features actors including K. Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, Radhika, Sathyan, Adithya Kathir, and Kureishi.

Making his directorial debut with the film, Vishnu Edavan previously served as an associate director to acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on projects such as Kaithi, Master, and Vikram. Sharing the first-look posters on her Instagram timeline, Nayanthara captioned them: “It all begins with a simple Hi :)”

Director Vishnu Edavan described the film as a wholesome family entertainer that explores the theme of true love. Sources reveal that shooting is underway in and around Chennai, with around 20 days of filming already completed. The movie will feature seven songs, two of which have been picturized.

Anticipation is high as this marks the first collaboration between Nayanthara and Kavin. The film boasts a strong technical team, with music by Jen Martin, cinematography by Rajesh Shukla, editing by Philomin Raj, and art direction by Shekhar B. Dance sequences are choreographed by Brinda, and stunts are handled by Dinesh Kasi.
